A little simplistic. When social media has the power to live stream killing. When social media has the power to take online bullying into real life and destroy careers. It’s not a simple case of controlling your stream when trolls get involved. When social media trolls hunt down tribute pages to the deceased on FB and then troll the relatives. Or when a school no longer hires a teacher because of slander or an uncompromising video shot by an influencer while they were having a hissy fit on public.

No. Social media is out of control. As much power it has for good (see Luke Wiese story) it has incredible power for bad. You think you’re in control but reality can be far more unsettling.
