Actually goes back to medieval times where the Jews were persecuted and allowed to hold positions as tax collectors. Nobody likes a taxman. They're a covenient minority group to blame the ills of the world back then...such as plague, bad crops etc. And then there's the state of Israel and all the baggage there...the zionist movement and the jihadis. There's a lot of historical anger.
