As a teen, NME and Melody Maker were my bible. Every week without fail I would scan them. They also had club listings and what band was playing where. They broke bands.

Later Mojo took their place as the weeklies died a slow death. It was the photo shoots. The wild stories. The fan obsession.

I miss those days.
