Ads can carry a powerful message. When done right, they help change the conversation on certain topics. It’s a fine blend that shouldn’t come across as too preachy or in your face. A subtle mix that pulls on the heartstrings. This advert by Chipotle achieved all this when it came to talking about animal welfare in the US. Directed by Nexus Studios’ Johnny Kelly and featuring a cover of Coldplay track The Scientist by Willie Nelson, the spot won two Cannes Grand Prix awards.
