Everybody is replaceable. Nobody is too valuable the company can’t survive (or operate) without them. This all sounds dog eat dog. If you’ve signed up for a workplace that aligns with your ethics (a cultural fit) then it’s unlikely you’ll ever be undervalued. Of course, not everybody has that luxury and I’ve had my fair share of shite jobs and shite bosses who gladly remind you of how easily you can be replaced.
