Had the same thing with Salem's Lot. Terrible tv back in the day. I remember sneaking down the stairs to catch a peek at what my parents were watching and it was a scene of a vampire locked up in jail. He just stepped out of the shadows and his face terrified me (full vampire make-up, like some hideous ghoul). It was years before I could switch off the night light or try not to think about the witching hour and falling asleep before that happened!
