How come the vax didn't work? Or the lockdown? Or the closed borders?
They all worked. Now its the booster. Information from the government now states the vax was for Delta...the booster is for Omicron. Which is fine. I'm okay with shifting goalposts, but our borders remained closed. We now have 50% booster rate. And yet the borders won't open till october. OCTOBER.
The modelling they're using is out of date and doesn't apply to NZ. What's more, we have leading scientists such as Sir Ray Avery who argues that our low density population and lack of UV protection has helped in making the virus not as spreadable. He made quite a few more points about NZ unique ecosystem all with scientific backing...post has since been removed.
