I met a woman here in NZ who was incredibly excited about the fighting and attrocities. She was a Christian. She had read her prophesies. She believed the rapture was close and hoped to see an escalation of violence to hasten the rapture. She hoped she would witness this in her lifetime (she's over 70).

And lets be clear, this is a very kind, rational person of incredible upstanding character. A pillar in society.

She asked me "Why aren't you right wng?" in regards to the hositility towards Israel. How can I possibly support right wing views as a son of an immigrant who can trace my ancestory through India, Yemen and Poland?

No words. My wife had to pull me out of the house before I told her to fuck herself.
