I mostly agree with this. Those locally I’ve met up with and continued to explore our friendships. The flipside being, you don’t TRULY know a person. People can lie and manipulate and groom. Those you considered friends are gossiping with others. Those you consider trusted are busy taking your ideas and creating a Masterclass from them. Those who you help out when in need could be spending gifted money on a new holiday.

It’s tricky, it can happen, but I think you have to be extra vigilant online.
