I watched and rewatched Red Dawn so.many times! The one scene that always fascinated me was when they first landed outside the school and started shooting up the building. I was shocked to see actual teachers and students being killed. One dead guy hanging out the window. I always had a morbid love of schools getting destroyed (Heather's ranked high on my list of faves).
Flamingo Kid I never got. Even rewatched as an adult and still failed to see the appeal.
