I'm sure a load of heavy metallers feel the same way about Black people co opting their sound. I mean, fucking Ice-T and Bodycount? Do you think then, it's racist wanting to own a whole genre of music and then being offended when it gets appropriated. I love Northern Soul. I love rap. I don't need anyone to explain that shit to me. Maybe some empathy with a co-worker who felt that possibly she finally had something she can begin a conversation with you without you looking down on her.

And Bodycount is epic and there's no way I resent Ice-T or any Black person who wants to talk about music.
