It's a cesspit full of scammers and the unemployed wannabe scammers all desperate for attention. Its mob rule and endless hubris. It can be entertaining, check out The Bad Influence on LinkedIn or State of LinkedIn on Twitter. But most of the time is a shitshow. I've yet to meet anyone who says they landed a job via linkedin.
