It’s good you’re in a position to afford the luxury of working from home. Many others rely on their children going to school so they can support their family by going to work.
Structure and normal routine are equally as important.
Theres also a case for low income families who struggle to put food on the table and school meals provide that service.
While I agree somewhat with what you’re saying from a point of privilege. Here in NZ we’re in lockdown and the school year is starting but with remote teaching. Those without internet access are also provided for. But no school? Disagree.
