I've worried about the marrying-out aspect. I married out and thus my children aren't considered Jewish in the orthodox sense. But...here in Christchurch, at the far end of the diaspora, our congregation accepts anybody with a Jewish link. Inter-marriages, converted Jews or children of Jewish dads are all accepted. I think the future is for blended families and that will keep the faith alive.
