Joe…we’re just going to have to agree to disagree here. If your last resort is loading a gun with the intent to kill then already the situation is out of control. If he’s facing off with ‘neighbors’ who want to kill him, then I doubt one man with a weapon would prevent further harm to the rest of his family. Would he really be able to protect his family? It’s all hypotheticals based off fear and he’s allowed the fear to rule. Emotion over logic about a sense of dread and worst case scenarios. Lynch mobs is what he’s describing and one man is powerless to stop that.
