lol...don't get disheartened. I only show of the hits! I have so many misses. My pay every month is mostly thanks to 2 articles out of 20...a 1 in 10 that drags the rest forward. I only send to 4 publications and try to hit those once a week. Most importantly, they cover the topics I enjoy writing about. They are The Bad Influence, Lessons From History, The Riff and Level (which has 1 story a month as their process is slow but they pay upfront). Don't spread yourself thin. Don't write too much and burn out.
