Much like the Ganges that run through Varanassi in India, you would have to be swimming in that filth for years to build up an immunity. I'm not going anywhere near it!

But on saying that, even here in NZ that's very few rivers/lakes that pass the health inspection test. We have some of the most polluted waters in the world thanks to nitrate leeching and deposits from cities.
