Negativity is important as it stops our egos getting our of control and an ever expanding echo chamber (thanks algorithm doe only showing what I like!).

I recently unfollowed a couple of people mainly through boredom. They were repeating the same topics, the same themes and the writing held little interest. I unfollowed another because I strongly disagreed with their view on a couple of occasions. Instead of writing an angry response, I took the mature option of unfollow.

Finally, I unfollowed on other. Jessica Valenti. She appears to attack men often…but I love her writing so much I followed again. She makes great points and it’s good to hear her views even if ssometimes they’re very one sided.
