Not sure I understand your point. If a small part of me thought it was all stupid then I'm pretty sure I wouldnt be calling myself Jewish right now. So this hypothetical doesn't work on someone who has faith. As for judaism requiring something...well, that's called faith too. Maybe you should try it. And yes, of course there'll be doubts throughout your life and it may well be naive stupidity, but faith always requires a leap 😉
