Not sure you can compared Roseanne to Shane. I don’t know the context for shane’s comments…was it a comedy podcast? A satirical podcast? If that was the case, then he should be allowed to push the boundaries.

Roseanne though…she wasn’t making a satirical joke. She’s a racist. Her behaviour reflects this in private too (according to reports and the usual gossip columns).

Does Shane go about making racist slurs off-stage too? Then yeah, he should be fired.
