Now this is an interesting answer. If no one has free will than who exactly is in control?
A child has little control over circumstances but that doesn't mean they don't have free will. Trauma happens. Violence happens. Bad shit happens. But control of events is different to having free will. Even a baby, with as little understanding of their world, has free will. They can choose to cry or not. It may be nature that guides that choice, or instinct but they still have free will. Nobody is controlling their action to cry or ordering them to do it.
