Just when you thought you were safe from all the worse excess of music videos circa the 2000s. Rodrigo’s pastiche of the noughties is a brilliant homage to a more innocent time. Directed by Petra Collins takes great fun in making strange outerwear corsets and teen cheerleaders work in both a tongue-in-cheek and bleak style. Rodrigo herself has been accused of ripping off 90s stars such as Courtney Love who claimed the album cover for Sour was a Hole rip off.

This video is great fun and one of the best of 2021.
