So not good and I don’t believe it’s ever going to get better. Porn gets more hardcore, children are growing up not knowing what’s right and what’s normal. Normal is replaced by ever degrading acts. Misinformation everywhere. Is it safer for women? No.

From my perspective, an early riser out for a morning walk, I cross the street if I see a lone woman. I understand what my presence means. I get the vulnerability and don’t want the woman to become alarmed…but I know she’s just picked up her pace and is getting scared. I feel shamed even though I’ve done nothing wrong or have no ill intention…but that’s the modern world we live in. Great strides entwined with fear.
