Imagine a world where everybody agreed. Imagine a world where there was a single standard to everything. One type of comedy. One type of film. One type of music. Imagine a world where everybody nodded and never expressed an opinion.

Isn't it better that we all have a platform to say what we like? That I can voice my opinion that I don't find Martin films at all funny? You're right. My opinion has no value and neither does yours, but it doesn't mean I should never express it.
