Totally....but if most do, then it counts? I would argue against that. It's how it impacts you personally that counts. Just being popular doesn't mean its a great song. Take Mr Blobby as an example...a UK Christmas #1...very popular but absolutely shit. It has impact, but fails to hold a special place in my heart.
