With my dreadlock hair, teaching in Korea for 2 years was filled with the constant moans of how smelly I was. Not the usual foreigner smells abuse, but because of my hair they liked to think I was dirty and thus smelly. Seoul is one of the most judgemental cities I’ve ever lived in.
