You know, I don't think I've ever started a conversation like this. I don't mean that I've never shown or expressed good values. More a case of me ACTUALLY saying, "This is how a man should behave." I think this is awful. I presume it happens between other fathers and sons, but the implication that there's a standard for men, a certain behavior...is wrong. Pigeonholing masculinity. Sorry...probably when completely off topic.
