You may be right.

Satire has a lengthy history of making uncomfortable reading. It shouldn't be seen as 'fun' or light-hearted in any way. And it's true, I'm sensitive when people mock my religion in the name of satire. But without a satirical voice, there would never be Sacha Baron Cohen or even Dave Chappelle. It shouldn't matter whose making the commentary as long as the intention is understood. I truly believe my intentions are clear in this piece but I can also understand how it can be misread.
